The popularity of houses had significantly risen in the market due to the fact that many of these new houses can now offer the same luxurious living experience that condominiums, such as condominium complexes, can offer to their residents. However, many still consider condominiums as the best type of modern housing in the Philippine market. So which of these types of housings is the best?
Which is the Best?
In terms of luxurious lifestyles along with luxurious interior and exterior designs, condominiums are considered as some of the best. However, in terms affordable luxuries, new houses for sale in the market today are known to offer new benefits for its residents that can be easily afforded by the middle class of society.
Pros of Condominiums
The one advantage that made condominiums a very popular type of housing in the Philippines is because of its location, in which most of these are found in business and commercial districts such as in Makati City.
Because of its location, these types of housings became popular among many Filipino executives and wealthy families that works almost around the clock as well as for those that wants to live within walking distance from popular entertainment or "hang-out" places such as malls, shopping centers, and bars.
In addition to that, condominiums are also known for their collection of amenities such as gyms, indoor swimming pools, and sports complexes, which made it unique in the competition. However, what made condominiums even more popular is because of condominium complexes, which can offer the same amenities, but with the addition of the serene and wide open spaces as well as recreational parks and playgrounds.
Cons of Condominiums
The disadvantage of condominiums, however, is its expensiveness as well as costly lifestyles. This is because condominiums usually cost around millions of Pesos, while its its condo fees are not as expensive as many may seem. This is the reason why houses are still in-demand in the Philippine market.
Pros of Houses
The reason why houses are still in-demand in the market is because houses are far more affordable compared to most modern types of housings. And because of the number of new houses for sale that offers new benefits for Filipinos, houses had also become very popular in the market.
The advantage that many new houses for sale can offer is that these are mostly found in exclusive housing communities around the outskirts of Metro Manila. This is the reason why houses became even more popular among many Filipino families, due to the fact that these new houses can offer them a more family-oriented environment compared to that in residential districts. However, what made these new houses even more affordable is because of its affordability.
According to many Filipinos, these new houses for sale can now be owned and paid in installment, making it more affordable compared to renting in an apartment unit. In addition to that, many new housing communities in the Philippines can now also offer the same amenities that condominiums are known to offer, such as swimming pools, parks, playgrounds, and sports complexes.
However, the disadvantage of these new houses is that its interior and exterior designs are not as luxurious as condominiums. These are usually built to be simple which can cater to the simple needs of simple Filipinos. Another is that because of its location, many of its residents found it harder to get back to their workplaces in the city.
