Which is the best, condominiums or houses? For many modern Filipinos, condominiums are considered as some of the best types of modern housings in the Philippines today due to the fact that these types of housings can offer the kinds of benefits that many of them are looking for, such as the accessibility to business and commercial districts.
However, there are also a number of Filipinos that still believes that houses are still some of the best types of housings in the Philippines, particularly with new houses for sale in the market today.
Advantages of Houses over Condominiums
One major advantage of houses over condominiums is that most of these houses are usually more affordable compared to condominium units found near or within business and commercial districts. According to Filipinos, the cost of a single condo unit in the city is enough for them to buy a 2 to 3 story high house in neighboring cities, such as in Caloocan City as well as in some parts of Quezon City.
Because of this, many Filipinos, who are usually with their families, chose to live in a house rather than in a condominium unit. However, there are also a number of new houses for sale today that can offer a more family-oriented environment while maintaining its affordability in the market. And most of these new houses are found around the outskirts of Metro Manila.
The advantage of these new houses is that it can offer a new term of payment that allowed many Filipinos to own a house while paying for it in installment. Because of this, along with its peace environment, these new houses for sale became even more popular among many modern Filipino families, particularly for those that can’t afford living in a condominium unit.
Advantages of Condominiums over Houses
What made condominiums popular and modern compared to houses is because most of these types of housings are found near or within business and commercial districts of the Philippines. Because of its location, many of its residents are usually executives as well as high-wage earners who usually work almost around the clock.
Because of its location, condominiums can easily offer the luxury of accessibility to these key locations in the city, allowing its residents to avoid the usual hassles of rush hour. However, other than in the city, there are also a number of condominiums found around the outskirts of Metro Manila or even in the provinces. These types of condominiums are known as condominium complexes.
Like housing communities and subdivisions, condominium complexes can also offer the environment suitable for a growing Filipino family. The advantage of these types of housings, however, is its amenities. Most condominium complexes are known to offer recreational parks and playgrounds, while a number of new condominium complexes can also offer swimming pools, gyms, and sports complexes.
