Playstation is a very famous and top producer in the video game industry. The brand brought a few models of the PS3 on the market which had both advantages and disadvantages for the players.
The slim PS3 is the second model to the also known wider version. First of all, we have to say that the slimmer version is very quite in general compared to the relevant model. The former PS wasn´t extremely loud either, but the current and newer types are definitely quieter. The reality is that there have been many heating problems with the PS3, so many people asked if that would also be the case for the new PS3. In fact, you can let the newer version run for like 9 hours straight, put a movie in there, leave the room for a while, and when you come back you won´t notice and see that it is overheated.
If you like the PS3, if you like the operating system, want to watch weekly movies and play games in high definition, you will love the slim version to 100%. It does the same thing like the wider version but it just comes in a smaller package, that´s all. The only disadvantage of the slimmer kind is that people say that it looks ultra cheap and they don´t like the Sonny sign on it. They also don´t like that the name isn´t visible, and that it doesn´t say push buttons etc. A design is mostly individual and at some point it makes sense that not everybody falls in love with this style immediately. However, if you can get along with how the PS3 looks like, don´t mind the design, you should probably go with it.
PS3 did a great job by putting all these powerful aspects into such a small package. Because of technology new technical items almost advance faster than our human ability to manage them. There was also a model that had some kind of glassy-finish which looks also pretty sharp. Both are going to work and have hard drives that are easily awesome, and you can get a sizable match on both of them.
What about the features of the PS3? If you take out the launched 60GB version that had the card readers and the 40 USB boards, so does the newer PS. But what you are not getting back with the slim is backwards computability. When it comes to the PS2 you don´t get any backwards computability with the titles. The additional launch consul was 60 GB for 600 $ which had the backwards computability, and was the only PS3 that had this feature integrated. Besides, one aspect of the PS3 that is missing and was included in some other version had is the ability to install 3 parties operate systems. Before purchasing it make sure to keep the points outlined in this review in mind to make an optimal decision.
