There is also an indoor area where people from Minting and other areas can see snakes, reptiles and tropical butterflies.

If you are in the Minting area and are interested in Hedgehogs, then you should definitely make a visit to the Hedgehog Care Centre, which is thirteen miles away from Minting. The Parrot Sanctuary is eighteen miles away from Minting. It is worth a visit if you like to see the beautiful plumage of different varieties of parrots. You can also watch them move around with their amusing sideways gait. Many children enjoy it when they talk to parrots and the parrot puts its head on one side.
