How can self empowerment give you more fulfillment in your life? By knowing yourself, respecting yourself, and trusting yourself you do away with any need to doubt or ridicule yourself, or fear life.

Have you ever wondered why one person seems to thrive no matter what life throws at them while others shrivel even in the best weather? A good deal of this has to do with whether or not they are an empowered human being. Knowing and loving yourself is one of the key ingredients to positive growth, and this is a big part of the difference in the two examples above. One has the nurturing they need to thrive in all types of conditions and the other heaps self-recriminations and worse upon themselves daily.

Self Knowledge

Discovering your own individual seeds of happiness and success are the perfect first step for your empowerment plan. What is it that drives you? Explore what values you hold closest to your heart; what are you passionate about in life; what do you believe is your life purpose; and how do you prioritize these things in your life?

Adjust the Soil Conditions

If the seeds of success are not growing in your life, could there be a problem with the soil? Positive self-talk, self-esteem and self-motivation are the best ground conditions for the seeds of success. They will water, fertilize and support these seeds to full maturity and harvest in your life. Look very carefully at how you think and feel about ‘you’. Are you constantly berating the way you look, act or feel? Not very much positive can grow from these soil conditions.

Believe

Have you heard the saying, "if you can believe it, you can achieve it"? So guess what, you have to believe in the possibility of your own self empowerment. You must come to the knowledge that you are worthy and capable of discerning the best path for yourself through life. Many people have a long history of believing the ‘put downs’ they have been handed through the years... being told they are incapable or not good enough. Couple that with all the ‘professionals’ that society endorses to run our lives (doctors, lawyers, religious leaders, politicians), and it’s easy to feel disempowered. Of course experts are good, but you have to believe in your own capabilities to question and make decisions for your self. You are worthy of believing in!

Empower Yourself

Can you empower yourself? Of course, you can! It’s a matter of you wanting it badly enough. If you make it a priority, you will find the tools that will best help you to embrace strong self belief and empowerment. For some, those tools look like everyday life unfolding its secrets for your success. For others it’s self help books, or personal development seminars. And others may find life coaching is the perfect path for them. It can be done, and you have the strength it will take to do so!
