A smartphone is not just a mere wireless device which can be used for making calls or text messaging. It’s more of something that plays a significant role in simplifying your life, if used wisely. However, would you disagree if I say that power of a smartphone cannot be analyzed unless you start downloading and using some apps on your wireless device? Nah…you would surely agree with me on that! It’s true that smartphones and apps cannot be separated. And, I can firmly say that it would be almost impossible to track a smartphone user who’s not using apps on his or her device!
Now, when we are discussing smartphones…can we ignore the Android and the variety of apps that’s created (almost each day) for these amazing smartphones? Definitely not! Android app developers have created a software application for almost everyone in the society. Be it businessmen, professional gamers, musicians, busy mothers…there’s an app for each of them. In this article we will be looking at some amazing Android apps which have been particularly developed for students.
Sometimes, being a student can be stressful and monotonous. This is exactly why software engineers indulging in the field of Android application development have created some great apps for school students and college-goers. Here are the details about 4 such applications:
•StudyDroid – Coming first in my list is the powerful StudyDroid application for Android phones. This app enables students to create their own pack of flashcards, and keep on making as many packs as they may require. The menu key needs to be tapped…and you can add, edit, or delete any existing data. I personally believe that StudyDroid is a great way of studying and remembering facts, dates, and so forth. However, best thing about the application is the various customization features that it offers, making it more interactive!
•Google Sky Map – Studying becomes fun when you have got the Google Sky Map downloaded in your smartphone. This nifty little app helps you learn more about stars, constellations, and the entire solar system with much ease and comfort. Google Sky Map uses an Android phone’s in-built GPS receiver to determine the direction as may be pointed by the user. Moreover, the intelligent application also facilitates users to locate the position of certain extraterrestrial (celestial) bodies, including nearby planets, stars, satellites, and forth.
•Thinking Space – One of the most popular Android applications to be used by high-school students and college-goers…Thinking Space is more of a mind mapping tool for Android phones. The app is primarily used to keep notes and then arrange personal ideas in a logical order for future study.
•Formulas Lite – Oh! I wish I had this app with me when I was in high-school! Designed with great perfection…Formulas Lite is an amazing collection of popular mathematical formulas, and proves extremely helpful to students who are facing problem in remembering complex formulas and equations.
So, these were the 4 must-have Android apps for students and almost anyone who’s related to education and learning. In case you want to access more information about the features of these applications, you can always use the Internet facility!
