Australia is always a popular destination to study amongst students all over the world. There are number of top notch universities in Australia and renowned all over the world for providing quality education. The universities and colleges in Australia provide number of courses to choose from giving ample options to students to choose from and that is one the reason for number of students coming to study in Australia. The popularity amongst the international students is very high and more than 30% of international students enrolled for undergraduate courses in the area of society and cultural studies. This stream is one of the most promising streams for a good career.
Health Sciences
Amongst the popular streams for under graduation health sciences comes on the third spot. As per the reports 101,000 students enrolled under health sciences stream and this include more than 12% of total students who enrolled for under graduate courses. Adding more to this figure more than 70% of the students enrolled under this stream are female students which signifies the popularity of the course amongst female students. In the year 2008 the figure is raised up to 18% and this stream have become the second most popular stream amongst students.

Accountancy
Accountancy is one of the specializations which one of the most popular under graduate specialization courses as per the records more than 25,200 international students taking up accounting specific under graduation courses. There are various Bachelors courses which are offered under the same specialization like Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Economics.
Information and technology
More than 3,500 students enrolled for undergraduate courses in the specialization courses in Information and Technology. There are various courses under this stream like Bachelor of Information and Technology, bachelor of Computer Science and Technology and Bachelor of Computer Engineering.
