One of the factors Broomfield is proud about is their innovative and efficient services abound. This is no different with their schools, being the top reasons why home buyers consider Broomfield real estate as their preference to raise their kids. The city offers several services that are youth oriented, and that includes their schools and recreational amenities.
Schools. There are several exceptional school systems in the city, with both public and private offerings, that combine the latest in education's creative and innovative teaching methods. Higher education is nearby - CU at Boulder and Denver, Metro State College and Front Range Community College are just down the road. A little farther in Greeley, you will find the University of Northern Colorado and in Fort Collins, Colorado State University.
There are other respected private universities in the area, too: Denver University, Regis University, along with adult-oriented universities like the University of Phoenix and DeVry University. The average education level for residents of Broomfield goes well beyond high school, with an estimated 33 percent having at least a four-year college degree.
You can hear lots of good things about Coyote Ridge and you can't go wrong with either school. If your kids are about to be enrolled in a school, you might might let these schools determine your housing choice unless of course, your children have some special educational needs or one school is better than the other in that area.
Future Jobs. If your kids finally finish school and start looking for a job, there is nothing to worry about. Broomfield offers top jobs and careers without ever leaving the city. It has top three employers: Oracle Corporation (formerly Sun Microsystems, Inc.) with 3,387 employees, Level 3 Communications with 2,400 employees and Staples, Inc. (formerly Corporate Express) with 1,000 employees.
Sports and Recreation. The city is home to many youth sports programs including, Broomfield Blitz Youth Football a non-profit 501c organization dedicated to providing exercise and athletic development. The city also has a skate park with many different features such as bowls, a large half pipe and several "street" obstacles.
If your kids love outdoors, the city has an extensive trail system that connects the various lakes and parks. A scenic trail connects the Stearns Lake and the Josh's Pond on the west side of town. Broomfield also has a 9/11 memorial containing a piece of a steel beam from one of the towers.
Civic Activities For Teens. Your teenager can participate and get involved in a handful of civic activities and volunteer stints for the community. Volunteers offer their support by providing their dedicated service to promote the well being of our community and programs that serve Broomfield citizens. Horticulture, wildlife and natural resources programs are also provided by the Colorado State University in Bloomfield where teenagers can participate.
Along with the house itself and your preferred neighborhood, Broomfield homes for sale are simply perfect for you and your family. Broomfield is constantly seeking new and better ways to benefit all its residents. As mentioned in the city's official website: "Become a part of Broomfield and expect success to come your way!"
