Is Deep Blue for You?
Deep Blue is a remarkable mixture from doTerra Essential Oils, containing oils well known and studied for their abilities to soothe swelling, alleviate soreness, and ease discomfort.
Contained in "Deep Blue" are the oils Wintergreen, Camphor, Peppermint, Blue Tansy, Blue Chamomile, Helichrysum, and Osmanthus. The mixture may be applied as a compress on the spine and to reflex points on the feet, as well as on site where needed for bruises, muscles, cramps, or everywhere it hurts!
The very first essential oil I tried was "Deep Blue", included in the "The Family Physician Kit." Formulated for ease and healing in muscle aches and injuries, I never could have dreamed it would work so well. A three year-old ski injury to my knee was the first application. After only a few minutes the pain was gone. Next was the constant pain in my foot. I massaged Deep Blue neat (no carrier oil, just a few drops straight from the bottle) into my foot for about five minutes. The pain stopped.
I wasn't even aware of the constancy of the pain, and how it was affecting my energy, the way I walked, and my general outlook on life, until it went away. I could again put my weight on my foot.
The pain did return again about four hours later, but another application had it on the run. After one more time, and another application, the pain stayed gone for three whole weeks And when it did come back - I massaged with Deep Blue. The pain hasn't been back. From now on, when I have an ache or twinge, out comes the Deep Blue and away goes the pain
More than half the people bear incessant pain.
Deep Blue is doTERRA's soothing solution to this challenge, composed of Wintergreen, camphor, peppermint, blue tansy, blue chamomile, helichrysum and osmanthus.
Most modern consumers are intimate with the aroma and spice of wintergreen due to its popularity in candy and chewing gum.
Wintergreen essential oil, however, has much more to offer therapeutically, as a soothing agent for twinges and pains, for example.
Peppermint is popular in countless forms, from toothpaste to chewing gum..
As an essential oil, it is useful to aid breathing and as a digestive aid. For aromatic, topical, or dietary use. Helichrysum, one of the most sought after essential oils, has traditionally been used for its soothing and regenerative effects. The uncommon essential oil Helichrysum is distilled from the flower cluster of an evergreen herb and is highly cherished by essential oil users. For aromatic and topical use.
