Everyone has their own opinion on it. And for sure, the sensation of both activities will not be the same. When you fly military aircraft you will have distinguish sensation as well.
Whatever it is, if you really love speeding, MiG fighter jets training can pump up your adrenaline. If you frequently fly small propeller-powered aircraft then fly MiG-29 Fulcrum will be totally a different experience. Flying MiG-29 Fulcrum is speeding in supersonic speed, Mach 2.25 or 2,400 km/h! Any sport cars can get that speed? As a matter of fact, flying a sport and aerobatic airplane can’t take you to that speed.
When you fly MiG-29 then you reach almost three times of the speed of sound and prominently you break sound barrier and creating a sonic boom. What a marvelous flight! Dogfight and aerobatic maneuvers, low pass and feel the high G-force on your body. Amazing!
If you dare and strong enough, you can ask your flight instructor to perform extreme maneuvers such as steep vertical climb, steep diving or stall maneuvers. You should hold your breath when doing such maneuvers and should act like you have a hiccup to hold gravity and physics forces on your body. Beware, such extreme maneuvers can make you blackout for a moment.
For speed lovers, MiG fighter jets training in Russia is another challenge to conquest but not limited only for them. Aviation fans and other civilian people from different background can follow the training as well. To fly military aircraft, especially jet fighters, actually can be done in some countries. But outside Russia, you can’t fly MiG-29 Fulcrum, the legend of Cold War. In some countries in Europe, USA, South Africa and Australia, you can only fly Aero L-29 Delfin, Aero L-29 Albatros and Hawker Hunter.
Those are good jet fighters too and many air forces in the world fly them but they can only reach subsonic speed. Speed seekers like you would like to fly MiG-29 Fulcrum at its full speed.
