Close combat training does not focus on physically trying to harm someone and is merely a way to improve upon your natural survival instincts; think about it, if someone is coming towards you with a weapon or with the intention to cause you harm or danger you don’t just remain still, give in and let them over power you. For centuries, and ever since man was on the Earth, we have had the ability to survival solely on our instincts, this is where close combat training focuses on and tries to improve for your benefit.
