Acid reflux is gastroesophageal reflux disease, also known as the normally acidic burps, causing the acidity of the stomach to churn into the esophagus, there is a common problem but a serious health disorder, the Simple remedies can ease this problem before it can cause serious damage.
Most acid reflux is due to the combination of improper regulation of gas present in the stomach and lower sphincter at the end of the esophagus dismiss the charge of acid from the stomach to regurgitate into the esophagus.
Frequency of acid reflux can cause damage to the lining of the esophagus and soft tissue that creates problems in swallowing. It is the leading cause of cancer of the esophagus. A person with this problem may have a bitter taste in the mouth, a dry cough, trouble sleeping, chest pain and breathing problems.
Those suffering from acid reflux may also have heartburn for 2-3 days from the accumulation of acid in the stomach causing a burning sensation in the chest. Ginger is an herb and spice that is commonly used in foods and can be an excellent remedy for this problem and the formation of excess gas out of many other issues related to the digestive system.
The increased use of ginger in food or in salads can relieve the excess acid and reflux.
Keeping a piece of ginger in your mouth and suck its juice can help heal the scars of the esophagus due to acid reflux. It also helps strengthen the sphincter muscles to prevent the acid coming up from the stomach.
Two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar mixed with half a glass of water provides immediate relief from acid reflux. Another very good remedy to try, is to mix a banana with a pinch of cardamom powder and sugar, mix to form a paste and eat it once a day, it is very effective if taken a half- hour before lunch.
Drinking carrot juice also contributes to the regulation of gas and control excess acid to prevent acid reflux episodes. Although it may sound wrong, but the lemon juice can be very useful in the treatment of acid reflux, because it contains acids that help the body good to digest this bad acid and regurgitate into the esophagus.
A glass of water mixed with the juice of one teaspoon of lemon and half of rock salt can help cure this problem immediately. Like other medical conditions, it is not caused by one reason, poor eating and sleeping habits can also contribute to promoting this issue, even in a relatively healthy digestive tract.
Lack of physical activity, the habit of sleeping or going to bed immediately after meals or eating too spicy and fatty foods are other reasons for acid reflux and remedies to correct these errors.
Lack of water consumption, too much tea or coffee consumption and alcohol also creates excess stomach acid which can promote acid reflux at a later stage.
Never stay hungry, but eat light and ensure a sufficient amount of water consumption during the day, if possible, including milk in the diet, are effective remedies to address this problem.
