It is very interesting to note that the final picture brings accolades to the publisher or the person whose byline is printed in small fonts. But what happens behind the curtains? How has the magic been created? It is no open secret that Photoshop editors have a background role to play in the entire drama of creating the effects. Some are excellent conductors who can bring alive various fonts in digital images. Imagine how it will help a jewelry client to enhance the visual images of his products in gold, and precious stones. With the perfect use of gold glitter on the text and background the image is bound to have a 24-carat effect. The retro style graphics can bring out the vintage effect marvelously.
An offshore company with a solid portfolio can bring the magic alive. With the dexterity of masking, and layering the texts can be made creatively. Mask is a tool that is there in many graphical applications like Photoshop, Illustrator and Fireworks. Each application has different way to use the masking tool. It is helpful in layering and covering the artwork and illustrator uses vector graphics. The clipping mask is used by graphical illustrators and editors to create a different aura in the image with wording showing a character of the image. Two images are taken for this purpose and one is used for the background and the other image is used for the overlay. Selected texts are then overlaid. Text is put in the background image that is opened. Then the other image that is to be overlaid is pasted on the text and then the options are taken from the clipping mask tool – Layer>Create Clipping Mask.
The text with the second image on it is retained of the second image and the rest part is removed and then the blending options are used to border the text or make other changes that may look better on the text. These effects are brought about by a trained person who has got an artistic eye for perfection. This comes out as one layer that is blended and edited to take the shape of another image outline. The shape can be drawn also and then the transparency of the shape is used to delete the pixels of the image that is going to retain the shape. This way the photo or image takes up the shape. Both the layers – the base layer that gives the shape and the clipped layer that makes up the image, both have to be used with extreme finesse.
Many text effects can be treated by programmers on canvas. It can also be used for any other vector objects. These text effects work wonders in visuals in online games. CSS text like upshot can create text shadows, along with colorful kaleidoscope of waves behind. The use of global composite helps to create the linear gradient. The waves like patterns can be created for any other text too. Try to add a drop shadow effect also for a better impression. The image is likely to stay on the mind for long.
