If you're suffering from chronic yeast infections you need to make some lifestyle changes if you want to eliminate the fungus from your body. You have accidentally caused your infections by what you are doing to your body. There are many things that are the cause of fungus in your body. And the things that you do in your life cause this destructive organism to breed in your body and ruin your good health.
Your diet is one of the most important things in your life, and what you are eating every day is contributing to the fungal overgrowth in your body. Your persistent yeast infection is being fed almost every time you consume food, and that has to stop other wise you're going to keep on feeding your infection for a very long time.
Other foods that you eat are killing the friendly bacteria in your body, and your body is already low in good bacteria. Fungal infections start in the human body in the first place because the Candida outnumbers the friendly bacteria, and when you consume a diet that makes this balance worse, that's when your infections become chronic.
Another reason why so many women are afflicted with constant yeast problems is because they are using so called "cures" that are only treating the symptoms of their infection. If you use an anti fungal cream on your vagina then you're only killing the fungus in that part of your body.
A itchy vagina is just one symptom of a yeast infection, it's not the actual infection. You have Candida in your whole body, and it will mutate into fungus in your whole body. So killing the fungus in your vagina is not in any way going to cure your infection. All you are doing at the moment is alleviating one symptom, and although it is giving you some comfort, it's not doing you or your health any good.
If you leave the fungus in your intestines untreated then it will slowly destroy your good health. It feeds on the food that you eat, and it also feeds on the cells of your digestive tract. Once it's feeding on the food that you eat it will rob your body of valuable nutrients that are needed to keep your immune system strong. The food will also pass through your intestines undigested, and then it ferments.
Because your body is low in friendly bacteria, this is another reason why the food in your body doesn't get digested properly. Your body needs good bacteria for optimal digestion, and your body is high in fungus when you're suffering from chronic fungal infections. Fungus only impairs your digestion, it gives it no benefits what so ever.
When the fungus gets stronger it will feed on the cells of your digestive tract just like it feeds on the skin cells in your vagina. This feeding will eventually perforate the walls of your digestive tract, and then your real problems will begin. The toxins from the fungus will enter your blood stream and these toxins will start attacking you internally.
Lethargy, aching muscles and joints, mood swings and concentration problems are just a few of the symptoms you can start suffering from. If you go to see your doctor about them you will not be diagnosed with an intestinal yeast infection. You'll get prescribed different drugs for the individual symptoms. When they don't work, it is quite common for the patient to be prescribed anti-depressants because the doctor believes that the symptoms are all in the patient's head.
If you're suffering from chronic yeast infections then it's a good idea to seek help from a Naturopath rather than your doctor. Naturopaths understand fungal infections a lot more than doctors and they will use a multi-level approach when it comes to curing your infection. They won't just be prescribing you a drug that kills fungus, they'll show you how to change your lifestyle to one that reverses what is going on inside your body.
If you're suffering from persistent yeast infections then you must treat them before they ruin your good health. Visit Chronic Yeast Infection for more advice on your options.
