Are you and your family searching for great all inclusive cruise deals, but not sure what all inclusive really involves? Well here’s a little run down on what you can and cannot expect on a typical family cruise. First, let’s look at what you can expect when booking these types of cruise deals.

I’m sure the first thing that comes to mind is food! Well you’re absolutely right. Meals are perhaps the most important inclusion when booking a cruise vacation. As a family of four, including two teens, not having to pay extra for meals is fabulous! The savings alone are huge when vacationing!

This is one of the main reasons we have chosen all inclusive cruises over the past few years. The choices for dining are endless and it seems each and every year, cruise lines are trying to outdo each other, as this is possibly the biggest attraction to cruising period! You can expect to be served fabulous meals in the ships main dining rooms. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are normally served in the main dining rooms if you prefer to be pampered and formally served your meals. Of course meals are also served in the ships other designated dining areas, such as the main buffet for informal dining.

Fine Dining – Included in All Inclusive Cruise Deals

Yes you can and will enjoy fine dining every night at your reserved table. Indulge, taste several appetizers if you wish. Try more than one soup. If you can’t decide between two salads, have both. Feast on carefully prepared international dishes by some leading executive chefs from around the world! The buffets are excellent with a huge variety of food to choose from to satisfy everyone. The main buffets are also open for breakfast, lunch and dinner the better part of the day and evening for your eating pleasure!

Oh, and don’t forget the midnight buffets, yes there are cruise lines that still offer this popular all inclusive attraction! The display alone is worth the visit! Onboard ship, one will never go hungry! Of course there is always 24 hour free room service available as a nice inclusive option.

Other experiences we have enjoyed over the years while cruising are the unique added dining options that are available free of charge. For example, on one cruise a daily after noon sushi bar was available for all guests. This was a wonderful all inclusive cruise surprise our family thoroughly enjoyed every day as a before dinner snack. You can expect pizza eateries, ice cream parlours, dessert bars and other tempting diners, all unique to each individual cruise line and of course free of charge!

All Inclusive Cruise Deals Include Room Service!

No need to worry about making your bed or tiding up your cabin. Shipboard staff will take care of that for you each and every day, included in inclusive cruise vacations. As a special treat, you can expect your bed to be turned down each evening, along with some extra little surprises!

Entertainment galore! Expect evening Broadway style shows and entertainment in the main theatre, as well as various other live performances in lounges throughout the ship. All at no extra charge! What’s extra you ask? Each individual cruise line varies as to what one might have to pay a little extra for. For the majority of the cruise lines, you do pay extra for alcoholic beverages and soft drinks. Specialty restaurants on board have an extra surcharge should you wish to experience optional dining. As well, tipping is customary and an added extra which I will discuss in an upcoming post.
