Toenail fungus home remedies are vastly different and it really depends on who gives it to you. Homeopathic families do vary to certain degrees but all have the idea to treat ailments with things you have in your home or are inexpensive. Using homeopathic remedies relies on tried and true experimentation over a period of years in most families. Some are not as safe as others but used carefully are fine. Bleach can safely be used to treat fungi. You can use one part bleach to ten parts water for a foot soak. For a solution to be applied with an eyedropper you will want to mix one teaspoon of bleach with four teaspoons of water and apply drops to nail twice a day allowing to completely dry.
Baking soda can be used as a foot soak two times a day allowing to affected areas to dry completely afterwards. You can mix baking soda with water making a thick paste and apply to area and allow to dry. It will fall off when dry but cleanup is easy enough. This will even improve the look of your nail while waiting on the fungal infection to heal.
Apple cider vinegar is acidic and works well fighting fungi. Apply to nails two times a day as well as thirty minute soaks before bed. Wear sandals and allow the affected area to dry completely. You can also soak cotton balls and lay them on the affected area and receive the same benefit.
Vicks vapor rub whether name brand or not works well. Treat twice a day by applying to primed nail surface and applying a band aid or sock. May be the Eucalyptus that works so well, but results are quick with this method with little to have to do.
Toenail fungus can be treated by mixing a mixture of equal parts of soy sauce and pine sol. Store in a bottle and use an eyedropper to apply drops to affected nail two times a day for as long as it takes. Watch for redness and irritation.
Bag balm for cow utters is another fungal fighter. This balm is good for lots of things but also has been known to be effective on fungi. You will want to apply to primed nails and cover with socks then you are ready to go.
With the various treatments available for fungi infections some are more tasteful than others as well as smelly good and bad. As long as the nail is primed and ready to take the treatment then it would seem any of these would help. If the nail is breaking up and peeling you should keep it trimmed as close as you can with causing pain. Some type of disinfectant should be used on clippers or anything that is used to work in the fungi area to prevent further spread. There should be new pink thinner growth available to view with in just a couple weeks.
