It could be a flood, a major earth quake or any other big issue; even a virus in the computer. Hence, there are many reasons why data stored on a computer can not be considered very safe. Although it is one of the best choices to have the data saved on and retrieved from a computer, there needs to be an alternative way that could be used to retrieve data in time of trouble. Hence, all; businesses, homes, schools, colleges, universities and areas where computers are used, need to make effective data recovery plans. These plans a re a great help when data is lost from a computer and help the business, form or the organization keep on running. In an otherwise case, the business or form might have to close down if all the important data, history, past records and customer information is lost.

Having such plans is equally important for hospitals and clinics as well as offices, banks and educational institutes alike. People are well aware of the fact that computers are manmade machines and can not be trusted on completely. Today, almost everything runs on a computer from airport to security systems to banks and just about anything else. In spite of this, no computers have been invented up till now that do not malfunction or can escape natural disasters keeping the data safe. Once it happened that the computer systems at Hong Kong airport stopped working due to some virus or hacking and the entire airport had to discontinue operations resulting in a loss of millions of dollars. Hence, one should never consider data recovery plans as optional as they are quite necessary for every kind of operation. Wherever there are computers being used, data recovery has to be set up in any way, feasible. People know of many cases where computers failed to work and caused great losses, still they tend to debate whether planning for data recovery is just optional or a necessity. The answer is very clear and all business owners or users of computers, in any firm or environment, must know that they have to maintain plans for data recovery. This could be done effectively by setting up an IT department that would handle all the tasks related to computers and everything that is inside them. Is this is not feasible; a cheaper and easier way to have data recovery planned out is to outsource the task to BPO companies. They handle all such tasks with great proficiency and charge way lesser than what it would cost to set up a private IT department.

There is nothing and no reason that can stop one from having the data recovery planned. At any time, an unfortunate situation can come up and of course, no one wants their business or organization to be discontinued due to the loss of data. If such is the concern, consider a plan now and take immediate steps to have it done.
