Welcome to part one on how to start a business, my name is Brian and I am going to be your guide on this journey. Now before we start our first lesson, I want to discuss what you expect from these articles, the first lesson, and how to you can find out more information.

In these articles you can expect a lot of information pertaining to how to create and run a successful business, including: how to find and use free business resources, how to create a business plan, how to find start-up funding, how to set up your accounting books, how to hire your first employee, etc. One more thing before we get started we have four rules (1) these guides are created for the beginner someone who has never started a business (2) the initial cost will be less than $100 dollars (3) creating any business idea is going to take time, patience, dedication, determination, and an open-mind (4) I challenge all readers if there is something I write that is wrong, can be done more efficiently, or you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me.

The schedule for this series is there will be a new article released every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 12:00pm EST. Each day we will focus on a new topic that will lead to an end result of creating a successful business.

To encourage readers to read these articles we are going to give away free stuff. Some of the prizes I will away our books, cds, money, computers, etc.

The first lesson we are going to talk about is how we can gather and use free resources to grow our business. One of those free resources is a library card. The library is such a phenomenal institution for any entrepreneur as it provides free information from newspapers, magazines, articles, database marketing research, etc. The second thing we are going to talk about our small business centers that are ran by the United States government to help entrepreneurs grow their ideas into successful businesses. One of the things we absolutely love about these resource centers is you can take your business plan to them and they will review it for free and provide professional feedback.

Join us for our first lesson on Wednesday where we discuss how to find and use these free resources.
