Children are usually very picky eaters. They want to eat what they like to eat. They don’t know about what’s good for them and what’s bad. All they know is that they like a certain meal and they want to eat it every time. Being a parent it is your responsibility to understand your child’s nutritional requirements. You need to know what a child’s body requires to nourish at its best. The first step is to visit to a nutritionist and ask him for guidance. Once you know what is best for your kid, the next step is to make him eat it. But, there comes the problem – he doesn’t eat! Isn’t it? Well, if you are facing the same problem that 80% of the parents face then it’s time for you to take some additional measures to make sure your children get what they deserve.

Here are some tips you can try out to make your child eat:

Make Them Pick…

They are picky eater and they want to pick so let them! When you are shopping, make your child pick what he likes. Take him to the grocery store and tell him about the different vegetables, fruits, etc. and ask him to pick out his favorite one. Of course, you would be the one deciding at the end but this way your child will be satisfied knowing that he is eating what he wants to eat.

Get Creative with the Meals!

Instead of making potato curry why not make potato chips? Instead of making chicken curry why not make strips of chicken and make your child eat it with his favorite sauce? All these little things matter with children and the more fun their meals are the more they will eat.

Present Variety…

Don’t let your child know what’s in the dish. Children can get very stubborn when it comes to eating something they don’t like. At times, they make it a habit of doing even if the taste isn’t that bad. So, you must understand their psychology and present a variety of ingredients to them in a single meal. This way, they will be unable to spot out what they like and what they don’t. Moreover, even if they pick out a piece of chicken from a bowl of spaghetti, at least they will have the rest of it.
