The important ingredients required for a peaceful and happy life are mental satisfaction and peace. In this 21st century, life has become too hectic and busy and along with this mental peace has sublimed away.
Depression is on prowl. Depression is related to low mood and morale which affects a person’s behavior as a whole. The person suffers from intrusive thoughts, sadness, anxiety, restlessness etc. Along with depression, suicide is on a rise leading to unnecessary loss of lives. Depression acts like a virus. It attacks the host and then literally feeds on it thereby degrading the individual gradually. Anyone suffering from this psychological disorder should undergo medication as treatment is effective in 80% of the cases. It should be kept in mind that therapies cannot cure depression completely. A lot depends on the person’s efforts to curtail his abnormal behavior and low thoughts. This therapy helps couples understand that they are not competitors, rather they should cooperate and work towards some common goal.
