If you are looking for a way to make money online, you may want to give freelancing a trial. Freelancing involves using your skill and/or knowledge to perform a function, service or task for others and getting paid for it. Some of what you can do as a freelancer include writing, content creation (audio, video, ebook etc), graphic design, language translations, posting and submission of articles, accounting services etc.
You can start as a freelancer without having to pay an upfront fee with some free to join freelancing sites on the internet. You will be able to either choose or bid for a project or task on these sites, and earn some revenue that may be shared between you and the sites you join.
To be successful with freelancing, you will need to review the different types of opportunities that are available on the freelancing sites first, you should join multiple freelancing sites to do this. You will want to know the possible opportunities that may earn you some money now through these sites. If you cannot find an opportunity to do, you may need to take some time to learn and increase/upgrade your knowledge and skill, to take advantage of the opportunities you can get on those sites. Some of what you may also need to do, may include learning a new language, if most of the opportunities you can find on the freelancing sites, will need you to have a better understanding of a language you may not be very familiar with. You may use a free or paid online resource to learn a new language.
You may also need to learn some other type of freelancing work or task too, in order to be able to take some very good advantage of online freelancing sites and use them as a way to make money. This means if you don't know how to write for example and all or most of the opportunities you can find on the freelancing sites are on writing, you may choose to learn to write so you can take advantage of this. Or if you don't know much about researching, and there were lots of research projects/tasks requests on the freelancing sites, you may choose to learn more about how to do researches too, so you can take advantage of those type of opportunities, and so on.
You may need to provide a portfolio/bio of previous work you've done, your qualifications and/or some samples of your work as a freelancer, this will encourage more people to choose and award their projects or tasks to you. If you don't have a whole lot of qualifications or samples, you may want to start with those type of freelancing work that virtually anyone can do and with very low requirements, once you've performed or done a project or task, you may then create or add it to your portfolio/bio.
You may create a portfolio on the freelancing sites, or you may choose to use a free/paid blog or get a website of your own, where you can direct potential clients to, to view your portfolio/bio on the internet. If you are freelancing as a writer, even if you have not written for pay before, you can still do some sample write-ups for yourself, you can publish on a blog/site, and/or give to potential clients as samples.
Though selling on the internet has a lot of potential for making lots of money online, freelancing on the other hand, may provide you with an easier way to make money, that is, some extra income much more quickly than selling online. And since you can actually do or be involved in more than one income stream at the same time, you may choose to do your freelancing with selling on the internet or any other type of income streams too, if you want.
