How to Find the Right Residual Income Opportunity

Many companies and programs out there claim to provide a residual income. Although I believe that most of them do, what you really should be looking at is, how realistic is it to earn a residual income with that particular company.

Not very many people will take the time to breakdown and analyze a companies compensation plan to see hot they would be able to reach a nice residual income. I didn't when I first

started in the network marketing industry. I was blinded by the concept of earning more money than I could ever imagine, so I never really took the time to do my homework and figure how I would realistically do it.

I know that so many people out there are experiencing this same problem right now and most of them don't even know it. You could be in an opportunity right now, working towards the goal of a residual income and not know that it could possibly take you several years to get there. Well, there are programs out there that will put you on a fast track to the kind of money you want to be earning.

Take this example. Let's say that I decide that I want to earn an extra $1000 a month and I feel like I've found a solid vehicle (company) to do that with. The compensation plan is explained to me and I figure I'll just go out there and

start building my business and eventually I'll get to the $1000 goal that I set. Now, I'm sure that with a little persistence and hard work, I'll get there no matter what compensation plan may be. But the point is, why would you work ten

times harder for a $1000 than you really need to?

For this scenario, let's say it took me 1 year. After that 1 year mark, I'm at a $1000 residual income. Not too bad right? I worked awfully hard to get there. I've got a gigantic organization of a couple hundred people or more. I'm really

feeling a sense of accomplishment at this point. The unfortunate reality of this situation is that there is a much better opportunity out there that I didn't know about. Had I done my research to see how exactly I would get to a residual

income, I could have possibly found this other opportunity and probably have been making $10,000 a month in that first year instead of only $1000.

Again, that was just an example but you see my point right? I mean, would you rather be earning a monthly residual income of $1000 by adding 10 people or 100? That's the difference here. Not necessarily whether it will work or not but how it will work. Those things are very important when looking to earn a residual income.
