Dr. Ara Deukmedjian, CEO of Deuk Spine Institute, will take part in a Florida State Association of Occupational Health Nurses Conference in Naples, FL, Sept 14-17 at the Ritz Carlton Beach Resort, 280 Vanderbilt Beach Road in Naples. As a guest speaker on the 'What's New in Pain Management?' panel, he will educate nurse case managers on the differences between fusion and laser spine surgery for the worker's compensation patient.
"The benefits are vast including fast return to work, the lowest risk of complications, the smallest incision, no adjacent segment disease, no metal implants or fusing of bone, and most importantly no destabilizing bone cutting technique is used," says Dr. Deukmedjian, a board certified neurosurgeon who specializes on surgery of the spine and has developed his own technique for laser spine surgery with impressive statistics to back up its claims of being the best on the market.
In addition to a presentation to nurse case managers, a seminar free to the public will be held on Sept. 17th at 9:30am educating on topics ranging from common conditions and treatment to 'laser vs. fusion' and an open Q and A with the physicians of Deuk Spine. Anyone may register for the free public seminar by calling 1-800-724-6349 or by registering online or through facebook.
"Many people still are in disbelief that something like this is out there," says Deukmedjian, "and our goal is to educate so that we can continue to change lives."
