ITIL training is now becoming a popular form of training in IT industries all over the world. ITIL training includes a variety of topics, each of which provide essential information for a business utilizing IT services and professionals. The first level of ITIL certification is the Foundation Certification, which covers all the basics of information technology. This includes things such as the components of IT that are the hardware, software and human resources. What you will learn about these three things, is how they fit together in the system as a whole, and what importance each has for providing superior services. There are two main modules in this level, which include Service Delivery and Service Support.
The second level of ITIL certification is the Practitioner Certificate, where you will learn about the implementation of the information provided in the first module. Here, some of the main modules that you will be studying are what's known as "Agree and Define", and "Support and Restore". These modules will help you understand the whole IT service system, and how different components work with one another within this system. It will also help you understand how to bring about a change, and provide better services to your customers. Further, and pretty much the ultimate goal, it will bring good impact on performance of company utilizing your skills.
The final level of ITIL certification is the Master level, and this focuses more on the management and planning aspects of IT services for business. This is the most advanced level of certification, and here you learn about the strategic point of view, rather than just the implementation. If you are a manager or are thinking about becoming one, this level will provide the advanced qualification, and necessary skill sets, needed for a high level position in the industry.
Those who have gone through ITIL training have a broader view and knowledge about IT processes, and service delivery. They do not just rely on knowledge from a book; rather, they also learn how to deliver the services in a manner that satisfies the customers. This is why many companies prefer to hire people who are certified, and as such, are ready to pay more for such employees.
