Learn Why Marketing Your Business Is More Important Than Your Actual Business

I know what you're thinking. Your Network business is the best opportunity out there. You can make money by working mere minutes per day and without even talking to anyone. You can make thousands of dollars a week with minimal effort right?
We all know that this is not true and that for any MLM business to work, its going to mean hard work on your part. There's nothing wrong with hard work. After all, its what you do in your day job right? Your work hard each and every day and are looking for the chance to line your own pockets instead of somebody else's. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that and you should be commended.
You've found the perfect chance to build your own business and you truly believe in the opportunity. It might even be the best one of its kind. You believe in it and you want others to believe in it too.
But I've learned that having the best opportunity or the best product or the best revenue stream or the best payouts is NOT the most important thing in your network marketing business.
Having the best marketing is!
A couple of months ago, I was talking to someone in my upline about our business. He had been involved, in one way or the other, for over 10 years. He knew all of the ins and outs of our product. He could answer any technical question you threw at him and knew all the details about what we offered, where we offered it and to who it was offered to. Heck he could hold a class...he was that good.
The only problem was...he had no one to tell this to!
He was absolutely terrible at marketing his business. He thought "marketing" was a dirty word and instead invested his time in learning the product.
Nothing wrong with knowing all you can about the products you offer, but would you rather know all that you can, and have no one to tell it to, OR have dozens to tell it to, and know a little less about the product? Think about this for a minute...which would you truly rather have?
I spent a lot of time on the product and I'm learning that in order to really make a difference I have to learn how to market my business.
If you have the best opportunity and no one knows about it, how will you grow your business? How will you recruit others if no one knows that they can truly make money with your home based business?
I learned that marketing was my best and only chance to change my circumstances. Marketing is what is going to make me a failure or a bust. Not the actual MLM opportunity...it doesn't matter how good or great that business is, if no one knows about it.
It didn't take me long to learn that the key to being successful, is growing your business and the key to growing your business is marketing.
Please don't get me wrong...having a great business to market is "mucho importante" but marketing and getting others to hear your great business is even MORE important...the MOST important.
