Central heating is a very common and almost necessary addition to the houses in places where winters get really cold. Gas heaters, convection water heaters or electric radiators are prevalent within the area, but now there is a new and cheaper alternative. Air heat pumps are particularly suitable for installation in passive houses, or efficient energy-saving homes. They are integrated into the pre-existing home ventilation system to provide a pleasant climate inside the building.
The equipment for central heating, hot water, ventilation and air conditioning is built into the house. It has small physical footprints, one of the features that make it perfect for the smaller modern houses. Since the equipment is no larger than an average refrigerator, heat pumps are commonly found in a laundry room. There is a water storage unit, heat pump, storage tank and the heating pump included and all the control technology is integrated to the easy to use User Interface. All major components of the heat pump are located within the device itself, saving valuable space.
The unit works by drawing in the air outside your house and then drawing out the heat within it and pumping it throughout the house via your ventilation system. This process can be reversed in the summer and the very same pump can transform into an air conditioner to cool your house. The advantage of air as a heat source is that it is pervasive, it can be used without much effort and its free unlike commercial fuels like coal or gas.
While the air pump requires no great approval process, some things must be considered in advance like the placement of the outer part like the amount of noise emissions by the flow of air and the fan noise. These should be placed with sufficient distance to adjacent buildings so as to keep the disturbance down. The heat pump manufacturers provide data for planning the noise level.
The heat pumps will be installed and integrated into the existing ventilation of your house by trained professionals from AAA Brothers and you will be given detailed instructions on how to use the unit. The indoor unit is very quiet and its sound is comparable to that of your refrigerator. The unit will remain dormant in your attic or laundry room and everything can be controlled by simply turning the knob to the desired temperature.
