Anivia " the Cyrophoenix
Anivia is an extremely hard champion to play, for many reasons. She has an ability that is a skill shot, which I think is quite predictable for enemy champions; her movement speed is really slow (especially for a bird!); and she can be quite squishy if you don't build her the right way. If you do happen to get Anivia right though, she can deal a crazy amount of damage to enemy champions around her.
Anivia's passive is Rebirth, which means that upon Anivia's death, she will revert into an egg that will last for 6 seconds. Unless the egg has been killed within those 6 seconds then Anivia will be reborn with the same percentage of health that her egg had. There is a cool down on Rebirth, which is four minutes.
Passive:
Rebirth -
Explained above.
Ability 1:
Flash Frost "
This is Anivia's skill shot ability. Anivia fires a ball of ice that flies in a straight line. This ball of ice deals magic damage and also slows any enemy in its path. You have the option of reactivating Flash Frost again to manually stop the ice ball from travelling, or you can wait for it to reach its maximum range. If there is an enemy champion nearby the ice ball as it is exploding, they will be stunned for one second. The enemy will also take an amount of magic damage.
Be sure to practice this ability a fair bit. It's a hard one to get off, and can be quite frustrating to land!
Ability 2:
Crystallize "
This ability is great for blocking enemy champions in or out of your range. Anivia puts up an ice wall that last 5 seconds. You can use Crystallize to block an enemy champion in when you are near an allied turret, or you can block them out if they are chasing you down. Crystallize can be a real lifesaver!
Ability 3:
Frostbite "
Frostbite has got to be Anivia's most powerful ability. It has the serious potential of dealing some crazy damage, especially to those enemy champions who don't have any magic resistance gear.
Anivia blast the target enemy champion with an iced pick that deals magic damage. If the target has already been 'chilled' by other abilities, such as Flash Frost, then they will take double the damage of Frostbite.
Ability 4 (Ultimate):
Glacial Storm "
Anivia's ultimate ability is one that does a lot of damage and is also activated by toggling on and off.
A circular area of hail and chilling rain that Anivia casts will cause any enemy champion that walks within the area to have decreased movement speed and slowed attack speed for one second. Glacial Storm also acts as 'chilling' the enemy, which means that if you cast Frostbite after they have been caught in Anivia's ultimate, they will then also take double damage from Frostbite.
Conclusion:
All in all, I think Anivia is a really strong champion. The damage that her spells can do is enough to nuke another champion in one go. I do think that she needs to be fairly 'tanky', which is why I would recommend building a Rod of Ages and Rylai's Crystal Scepter for those extra health and survivability items. I would also try a Lich Bane for the extra movement speed it grants you, as Anivia is not the fastest champion in the game.
The League Of Legends is an extraordinary game and most certainly one of my personal favourites, however there is one thing I like more and that is: Pokie Games
