There are still many months to go before the next edition of Motek, but because of the importance of the event, expectations are already high.
The new edition of Motek will take place as usual in Stuttgart. The international trade fair for assembly, handling technology and automation always attracts many companies and professionals coming from all over the world. This is not a common event, but one of the most important fairs of the sector, a fair that this year will celebrate its 31st edition. The new edition of Motek will take place from the 8th to the 11th of October 2012, and because of its importance, the companies that would like to be included in the list of exhibitors and the professionals that want to take part in the event as visitors should already begin to plan their participation in the fair.
Thanks to its history and renown achieved through time, Motek is ready to come back in spite of the crisis and is expected to be successful as usual. Its success comes from its specific peculiarities, which make it stand out among all the other events of this kind. The main peculiarity of Motek is its completeness: this is the only exhibition that includes all the aspects that are part of the world of mechanical engineering and industrial manipulation (from components to complete solutions), to meet all the needs of the companies and professionals that decide to attend the fair. The interdisciplinary approach of the fair gives visitors the chance to find the best solutions thanks to the possibility that it gives to have a complete picture of the sector. And if all this is not enough, also another fair called BONDexpo takes place along with Motek: the international fair for industrial bonding technology will celebrate its 6th edition in 2012 and complete the wide offer of Motek.
Expectations for Motek 2012 are high also because the fair achieved a great success last year: in the year of its 30th birthday, indeed, Motek succeeded in gathering about 36,000 visitors coming mainly from Germany, but with many foreign representatives as well (20%), and this is an evidence of the internationality that characterizes the event. As far as exhibitors are concerned, 1,051 companies (945 for Motek and 196 for BONDexpo) coming from 21 different countries have presented their products in the Stuttgart fairgrounds. Great numbers also for the exhibitory space where the products and services of the participant companies have been presented: 685,000 m², a datum that together with the number of visitors and exhibitors confirms that the event Motek_BONDespo is one of the most important ones in this specific sector.
Also the choice of the event location is not accidental and is an evidence of the importance of the fair: Stuttgart, at the heart of one of the most economically important industrial regions in Germany and in the middle of Europe, is a perfect crossroads as well as one of the most important centres as far as the sector of assembly, handling technology and automation is concerned.
For all the companies and professionals working in this field, the date to save is the 8th October 2012, when the new edition of the double event Motek and BONDexpo will kick off.
