• Making big or dramatic gestures with the hands
• Covering or wiping the mouth with a hand, licking or biting lips
• Facial expressions. A person who raises his eyebrows in surprise or smiles without raising their eyebrows.
Speaking clues that indicate deception:
• Loud, deep, has phony laughs
• Long pauses, answers too quick, forceful
• Swallowing hard before answering
• Sounds weak and questionable
• There mouth becomes dry and they make a clicking sound
