Thermal transfer labels, however, are a good choice even in areas where heat will be a factor. They provide the same prominent printing and aesthetics, but these labels is not going to fade from light or heat exposure. These labels have a known reputation of being rather durable. To print on them, a special printer that prints on ribbons will be required. Because ribbons, toner and ink will be required, these labels will cost a bit more. The initial cost is usually worth it because these labels are extremely durable and long lasting. They can be put to use for tagging inventory and identifying products. Many industrial companies find these labels to work exceptionally well for their line of work.
