Many ask if there are any specific qualities that distinguish a good signature from a bad one. To add further, they also inquire if asking a person to change the design and the qualities of his name in any way invalidate his signature. A signature is supposed to be a person's exact and true trademark. In the legal world, a signature that is not clearly recognizable it will not vacate document legality and make it unenforceable. A signature is validated to an individual even though you feel like there is a need to make changes to it to make it better.
Notaries notably work hard to confirm identity. This is their main duty and they do it through the qualification of sources such as a driving license or military ID. The cryptology of signatures is not reason enough for any notary to dispute penmanship to tenants, arthritic dexterity or muse. Being the public officials, they are notaries are exonerated from accuracy. As long as the identity is confirmed and the pen hits the paper appending that signature, the trademark is as good as executed regardless of aesthetics that could be present.
The truth is that there is no mass database of signatures. In each instance therefore, speed, motion and velocity vary even just slightly. This means that once a trademark has been executed, it can be impossible to determine the flow, structure and even physics of the scribble. This is unless you have been trained to do so. A signature is a mark whose purpose is to show an agreement of laid terms and nothing more.
Handwriting Analysis
In the forgeries and scribbles field, there are trained experts whose work is to analyze handwriting. Notaries are however not trained to scrutinize or detect any significant signature variety analysis, recognition, segmentation or character. Only the trained within trademark detection are armed with the metrics of pressure, size, writing placement and spacing. The handwriting analysis can be said to be just as accurate as the analyst handling the analysis. In general, the qualified and certified analysts will have approximately 90% accuracy rating in the analysis.
It should be remembered that handwriting can indeed be analyzed regardless of how messy it is. There is no difference when it comes to analysis, whether the handwriting is legible or not. It is not even necessary to manage reading the content that is written to manage conducting a proper analysis of the handwriting. There are instances where people try to forge documents by changing handwriting. However, certified and trained analysts still manage to analyze the written content and attach them to their original writers. It can be therefore be said that handwriting will always have some uniqueness to it regardless of the changes that are made to it. There will always be something that can be picked from it and something that also makes it stand out from the rest. It is how the analysts manage to do their jobs at such high percentages of accuracy.
