Here at National Plant & Equipment (NPE), our leading market position in heavy equipment rental and sales means we have the size and scale to become an ideal strategic partner to your business. Take a look at the reasons to see why we're sure we can help you.
OUR HISTORY
We've been in business since 1997, and were founded by Mark Ackroyd, whose vision was to make a company that would become one of Australia's leading earthmoving equipment rental and sales companies. Mark certainly achieved this dream over the years, and is still the managing director of NPE.
This vision was achieved through our complete understanding of the advantages we bring to our clients, and exceeding our customers' expectations consistently. These two things ensured we forged strong strategic alliances with our customers' businesses from the outset.
The continued expansion of the company since 1997 has resulted in a fleet of more than 240 items of large earthmoving equipment, and we hire these out to numerous major construction and mining organisations throughout Australia. Our first site was opened in Newcastle, but NPE now has offices and workshops in Perth, Emerald, South East Queensland, Mudgee, and Karratha.
In 2012, Mitsui & Co. purchased a 49.9% share in NPE, which expanded Mitsui's investment in the Australian mining and construction sector and increased National Plant & Equipment 's reach worldwide.
OUR SERVICES
We want to help you achieve your production and project goals, so we aim to offer a flexible and comprehensive service. Unlike many other equipment rental companies, we will allow you to pay a fixed monthly price (if that's what you'd prefer), which avoids nasty surprises and allows you to know what everything will cost upfront.
Our wide range of services includes long and short term contracts, traditional dry and wet hire, maintenance options, hire to buy, ancillary product sourcing and support, and specially tailored commercial contracts. We also specialise in remote areas, which are covered by our specialist teams and repair facilities.
OUR CLIENTS
Using our selection of services, we promise to make sure our clients get all the flexibility they require to meet their goals. We want to provide the perfect plant and equipment to improve your productivity and minimise your downtime. Over the years, we have offered viable fleet alternatives to our customers in the civil, government, contracting, mining, and resources industries, and they've collectively achieved more than 3.5 million operating hours on site. So if you want to grow and enjoy maximum returns, join our other clients in receiving National Plant & Equipment's unparalleled service. Plus, along with increasing your return on capital employed, partnering with us will enable your business to provide consistently reliable equipment to your employees, meaning improved labour productivity and happier workers.
