The most common cause of BSOD is the recent changes made by the user in computer hardware and settings. This is usually caused by the installation of new version or update. Test your computer’s temperature
Usually, when the system overheats, it leads to different problems. Blue screen of death is one of them. Overheating can be the reason of hardware malfunctioning. When the problem occurs, the user should first check the temperature and try to cool down the CPU.
Give a check to your computer’s internal hardware
Sometimes a weak connection inside the computer can lead to BSOD. Open your system to check all the wires are well-connected with each other and make sure cards are seated firmly in their sockets. But if you have a laptop, this might be a little inconvenient for you. In this case, you should check the RAM and hard drive is well connected. Take a screw driver and remove the casket in the back and press the components firmly into their connection. So that the loose connection will mend up again.
Check your hard drive
Open the properties screen, select the toolbar. Click the button "check now" in the error checking section. Your system will re-start again to scan the device. A failing hard drive can cause blue screen because of the corrupted files. So, you should scan it.
Check your RAM
When RAM fails, it causes the system to hang and unstable. So, if the blue screen appears, you should take the help of a program called memtest86 and test RAM. This program is available online so you can download it. So, install the program on your system and it will run an automatic test to check your RAM. It will take some time. This program will run on its own until you stop it.
You can search online for BSOD stop error problem solutions. You can also take some other steps to fix this problem, such as, run a virus scan, boot into safe mode etc.
