New Dating App Called IWI To Take The Industry By Storm!

Yeah yeah… What’s so different..?

While dating apps have essentially revolutionized the way we build and develop sexual relationships in the modern world, there are a lot of aspects to be desired that are fundamental to the creation of a real and meaningful relationship.

Time and time again, we hear the same stories of grotesque pickup lines or bland conversation all experienced by those stumbling through the agonizing pilgrimage to find true love. Even past these initial hurdles of breaking the ice and managing a decent conversation, there’s always a chance of stumbling across the infamous apex predator of the virtual dating world. The catfish.

Before IWI, these characteristics of online dating appeared unavoidable and understandably! How could you possibly avoid the awkward small talk at the beginning of a conversation with a stranger without being a silver-tongued linguistic master? (Even then it’s a stretch) And how could you guarantee you’re not falling head over heels in love over text with our fishy friend? Surely, there’s no way to ensure that you’re going to have a good time with every single person you match with. They’re only an image with a blurb of text after all. We can’t choose life partners the same way we choose movies on Netflix.

It’s obvious that IWI’s spent a lot of time thinking about these dilemmas because it seems like they’ve found the answers. The matching criterion of the app is based on the Big Five personality test. For those of you that don’t know, it is considered the most accurate and up-to-date personality test in modern psychology. As you download the app, you answer some questions, and voila! You’re ready to get matching. Each of your answers helps us align you to the OCEAN Big Five personality traits and match you with the most compatible people to your personality.

Now for the fun part, even if you’re matching with someone you’re super likely to get along with, surely you’ve to still break the ice somehow right? Don’t worry, in the soon-to-come version three, IWI helps do that for you. As soon as you match, the app gives you and your match a game to play together or a topic to discuss. This is designed for you to work together and learn about each other as you go without beating around the bush.

There are no easy solutions to catfishes, but IWI has a feature in development to take the venom out of their sting. This is the “livedrop” function and probably the coolest function of them all. This feature shows you a match closest to you and if you match and opt-in to meet, their location will be shared with you. As you get close, there will be an augmented reality feature to help point out your match by using an avatar to lead the way on your camera. Meeting straight away really puts the ball in your court when it comes to catfishing. Especially when the app points the person out to you from a distance, approaching becomes your call. The live feature will also show you “hotspots” with a number of compatible people in a location alongside recommendations of locations to go out on dates. If you don’t feel like texting and want to head straight out on a date you can!

While there are other apps out there that use personality tests such as the Myers-Briggs and others with some relatively similar features, none of them incorporates it all and none emphasizes real human connection like this do. IWI app strives for innovation and change to revolutionize the dating app industry by making it as human as possible. We live in a world overrun with gimmicks and robotic communication. Technologies that were supposedly intended to connect us drove us further apart than ever before. At IWI, meaningful and authentic connection is what’s valued above all else and it really seems like they’re doing their utmost to drive this change and using technology to bring us closer.

Now let’s see it on our phones soon!
