Most modern business people's schedule are full and stressful with many tasks to complete in a short space of time they are allotted especially as employees.

If they are married and have kids, they will not be willing to take on various tasks even though they are within their job they need to be in to provide for their families.

Having said that, why will they want to even consider taking any class be it yoga or any other subjects?

While I cannot provide an all-in-one solution of managing time and schedule, what I can provide are 3 key benefits of yoga and how they can help business people to be and stay fit.

In particular working women.

Physical Well-Being

Most business people want to develop and build a successful career they can be proud of and able to share and impress upon their families and friends.

So, in pursuing and working towards their goal, they often neglected their own health since what they do takes up most of their time every working week from Mondays to Fridays.

You may have heard this common phase that Health Is Wealth - which in my humble opinion - is fundamentally true.

Just because someone has a lot of money does not make them happy in the long-run.

Making poor health decisions can cause one to accumulate high medical bills and have a low-quality life.

They need to take care of their physical, emotional, mental and social health by eating the right food and getting enough exercise.

However, they don't always have time to exercise.

Considering the people, they spend most time with - be it our bosses, colleagues, friends, family members and kids require their presence and commitment from time to time.

And unless they are into body workouts themselves, they will often get in the way indirectly.

But that is not the main point.

The main point is how badly they want to be fit because if they really want to, they will make time for it even it means turning down their peers in helping all the time.

For the past 3 years, health has been in great demand and even more so due to recent pandemic at time of writing this.

There are 2 outcomes which are either you are well or not well.

Henceforth, it is vitally critical to realize how important your health is in your mind and body that translates into your thinking, actions and most importantly, results.

A healthy body gives you the ability to focus, concentrate and being able to function better in actions and productivity.

Yoga is a perfect way to begin especially for those who do not like tedious exercises like running, swimming and even workouts at gym.

Especially for women

As single individuals attached or married, pregnant or mothers.

However, men can join in if they want though most workouts, outfits and accessories are designed primarily for women due to greater demand.

The exercises are low impact so much so that even individuals can perform them even if they are out of shape.

The more days they set aside for yoga, the faster and more likely their healthy will improve.

Yoga is also every effective in reducing tension and stress.

In workouts, they help to unlock certain blockages which have been holding back our nutrients and oxygen that they are not even aware of until they are old since they are still feel well as young adults.

Yoga stretches different muscles that lead to the release of blockages and a better supply of oxygen and nutrients.

The benefits it provides to our bodies are both immediate and long-term.

The body improves in the short-term because blood is flowing and nutrients can be delivered.

While exercising, our muscles are tensed, releasing tension from your body.

Our lymphatic systems can then process waste more efficiently due to more activity in the body.

Over time, these benefits will be ongoing and will also improves the digestive system.

Yoga has been shown to improve balance, co-ordination and flexibility.

Mental Well-Being

Did you also take breath into consideration?

Even though we know we will die without it, we all take it for granted when we are well.

Even this basic theory reveals how critical it is for us as a whole.

Problem is proper breathing tends to be neglected as well.

It is essential not just for many health benefits, but also for the mental advantages it provides us subconsciously.

That is why all yoga instructors start with simple breathe-in-and-out exercises before workouts.

Yoga is an exercise built on basic breathing exercises and body postures.

This brings focus to the single simple action of breathing, which results in an ongoing awareness, slowing down of thoughts and reduced anxiety.

When we achieve breathing control, it becomes easier to stay calm.

That calmness is a jumpstart platform to obtain full concentration.

Having the ability to focus is among the most important skills in any environment be it work, interaction and even play.

Learn how to take care of yourself and not let others interfere directly or indirectly.

Even if they need help and you realize you cannot always be there for everybody.

As working professionals and with family commitments as spouses and parents, we become so distracted due to the many things we need to do.

That it becomes difficult to really focus on what we are supposed to do because we are constantly trying to impress and please everyone around us.

Even if their interests and values may not always align with ours.

Regular yoga helps to clear our minds of all distractions, leaving you free to focus.

It is also great in installing discipline while allowing creativity at the same time.

An example of the benefits of Yoga is that it teaches self-discipline.

Spiritual Well-Being

People put off happiness in the present to focus on this future point that everything will be okay when in reality, it may not be the case due to unexpected changes they have to adopt and grow with.

Yoga has no limitations in moving you closer to any particular timing.

Because it allows you to think and meditate at your own time and pace, you tend to be more in tune with what is happening now than worried about the future that may or may not materialize.

Practicing Yoga will give you an increased self-awareness, making it easier for you to spend time both with others and on your own.

How you value yourself will increase and enable you to perform better whether what and how others think of you and even judge you for what they see and think rather than what you really are.
