There is a power revealed when one decides to count the blessings in their life. And it doesn't take long to uncover it.

Counting our blessings builds positive habits. Counting our blessings improves our state of mind. Counting our blessings can help us take the right actions and to what we think is right. When we focus on what we have instead of what we lack, we experience a greater sense of happiness and contentment.

How many times have you heard the expression: attitude is everything? When we change our attitude, our attitude can change everything. Desire is the motivating force behind all programs of advancement in all phases of life.

Aristotle said: "We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.," And who can deny that? Creatures of habit we are. This is especially true when it comes to our thoughts, because it is known that most of us think the same thoughts over and over again.

It has been said that thoughts are things, if we think it, it is so, and as we think we are.

Where do thoughts come from? They seem to randomly pop up out of nowhere. Silly thoughts, foolish thoughts, fearful thoughts or smart thoughts, it doesn't matter. They just seem to be there and often when we least expect them. Each person's thoughts are personal and they are ever so private. You cannot know what another person is thinking. And another person cannot know what you are thinking.

You will be recognized by your character. Make your thoughts your own and do the right thing and you will build good character. Finding your true expression in life where you are doing what you love to do is your key to freedom to be who you want to be.

Your fear is a desire for something better. We all seem to share a longing for freedom and peace of mind. You will find it in thoughts of peace, freedom, and poise. Counting your blessings will lead you to this. There is an answer for every desire of the heart.

Blessings are gifts. Some see them as predetermined and cannot be earned while others see them as a result of good deeds and faith. Being blessed can mean having good luck or fortune, experiencing a sense of well-being or simply recognizing and appreciating the positive aspects of our lives. Blessings represent the abundance and positivity that we experience both materially and spiritually. Counting our blessings can lead us to a sense of purpose, inner peace, and a meaningful relationship with a higher power.

To truly recognize your blessings, one of the key practices is gratitude. Gratitude is a powerful force that can help shift your perspective towards the positive. When you make a conscious effort to focus on what you have rather than what you lack, it can open up a whole new world of abundance.

By reflecting on the good things in life you'll start to notice them more often. Whether it's heartfelt or simple, saying thank you expresses our gratitude and can lift our spirit and deepen our connection with others. This practice can help shift our energy towards positivity and attract more blessings into your lives. It is essential to cultivate gratitude and have a thankful heart.

Practicing gratitude for our blessings can have a calming effect on the mind and body which reduces our stress. Our accomplishments and strengths are highlighted when we acknowledge the positive things in our lives.

Having appreciation for the material blessings in our lives as well as the spiritual blessings help shape who we are. The beauty of life emerges when we take the time to be present. Pay attention to the blessings, savor them, and give thanks for them.

When we begin to understand the power that counting our blessings brings into our lives, and when we begin to share those blessings by practicing compassion, generosity, and kindness with others, we can spread positivity and make the world a better place. It's simple, it's easy, and it can even be fun.
