Here is an excellent way to get free targeted traffic to your website and or blog. It's called "writing articles about your niche." Write an article about what you know and submit it to article directories. It really is easy I've done it hundreds of times.

I have a garden website called GuzmansGreenhouse.com It has a lot of information about southwestern gardening. What I do is write a short 300-400 word article about southwestern gardening. I then submit them to artricle directories. It's crazy how easy this is

Write what you are knowlegable about. It will be alot easier to write something that you are familiar with. If you make a website about how to stop smoking then by all means write an article about "How to Stop Smoking".

If you have a blog about how to play drums then...well you should know by now.

Try to make a new twist to your writing use humor or make a list or step by step how-to's. Just do it. The more you write about what you know the better you will get. It does take some time and practice but it is well worth it.

Also most articles directories will let you use a resource section.

This section will allow you to add your homepage, blog or whatever it is you are marketing. You can add your website, newsletter or ezine which is a great way to get more subscribers.

This is also great way to get one-way backlinks to your website or blog.

Remember write about what your know, your interest, your hobbies, your passion your... well you get the point.

Submit your article to directories. Many are free to use and they bring lots of traffic and visitors. Their are thousands of places to submit your article. Just type "article directories" in your favorite search engine. You'll find thousands of free places to submit your article to.
