Tesco Dental Insurance reveals UK's favourite smile
In a survey conducted by Tesco Dental Insurance, it has been revealed that Kylie Minogue is the owner of the nation's favourite smile.
Body:
Surprisingly Jack Nicholson finishes last, respondents perhaps failing to recall his famous smile as the Joker in, "Batman" and an obsessive compulsive in, "As Good as it Gets".
Also surprising is X factor's "Mr Nasty", despite having blindingly perfect pearly whites, finishes in 12th place, only just above Princess Anne.
Tesco tips on keeping your smile bright include regular check-ups at the dentist and brushing regularly, both being supported by responses in the survey; participants saying the most important element to maintaining healthy teeth is to have regular dental check-ups followed closely by brushing teeth more regularly.
Respondents were also asked which other smiles brighten up their day, husbands/ wives/ partners had the highest rating at 41% followed closely by friends and offspring (31% and 28% respectively). A mother's grin is valued more than Dad's with 8% of respondents saying she brightened up their day as opposed to 3% for Dad.
The order of favourite smiles is as follows-
-
Kylie Minogue
-
Kelly Brook
-

-
Serena Williams
-
Julia Roberts
-
Martine McCutcheon
