Gone are the days that the advertising industry only uses flyers, billboards, t-shirts, pens and umbrellas to promote their company, merchandise, or services. Various items are now used to be a part of company’s marketing strategies. Mugs, watches, bags, and rulers are now included on the list of promotional products that are given away today. But currently, there is one promotional item in the market today that is very much prevalent and in demand. These are the promotional lanyards that may carry your company name or logo in a very stylish manner. Promotional lanyards are considered as one of the most effective promotional items today.
It was only a few years ago when lanyards became popular in the advertising industry. They are usually used as neck lanyards to hold company ID’s, keys, badge, mobile phones, eyeglasses, compass, bottle opener, and even Swiss knife. It can be made from nylon, cotton, small ropes, nylon, polyester or even soft fabrics. It all depends on the preferences of the company. Although it is commonly seen and used as neck lanyards, it can also be worn around the wrist, arm or waist. In countries like United Kingdom or United States, wearing lanyard is a way for them to be different from the norms.
Promotional lanyards are also popular nowadays because of the cost-effectiveness that it can bring to the company. The price of course, depends on the material that would be used. But definitely, since lanyards can be made from fabric or nylon, it is cheaper than producing and purchasing promotional items made from metal, plastic, and alike.
Companies may choose between custom-made lanyards or simple lanyards that they could give away. If they want to distribute simple lanyards the company logo or name is commonly attached at the end of the necklace. It can be a small emblem or token that would promote their merchandise, or services. On the other hand, custom-made promotional lanyards are more effective as advertising paraphernalia compared to the simple lanyard. The logo or name of the company can be printed directly on the chain of the lanyard. Thus, it looks more appealing and would certainly attract more people to see what the print is. Having promotional lanyards placed on your employees or consumer’s neck or wrist is yet another effectual way of marketing your latest product.
Custom-made promotional lanyards are not just used by different firms just for the sake of advertisement. It is also used to reward their employees, may they be old or new. With these lanyards, they can proudly say that they are loyal to their company, even without saying a single word. It improves the morale of the employee at the same time. Lanyards are not only given to them so that they too can advertise. Lanyards are worn by employees because they feel that they really belong in the company, not just simple workers. Not only that it will boost their self-esteem but would result to greater productivity at the same time.
