These days everyone seems to have fallen in love with online pharmacies. Most of the people just love the idea of ordering on the net and having the medicines delivered to their doorstep. No queues, no waiting, no embarrassment.
They feel life becomes pretty simple with an Online Pharmacy. Just order the medicines and then they are delivered to you and end of story. However, have you ever realized the risk factor in ordering from an online pharmacy?
Risk factor? I can hear you wondering what risk factors am I talking about? Well there are a variety of risk factors when one orders from an online pharmacy which may not be an authentic one.
-
Credit card thefts: Your credit card number can be stolen online! While ordering, do you ever take care to see if a symbol of a lock appears on the bottom of the page? If you don’t, that means your credit card information is actually being noted down by someone else who does not have good intentions!
-
Bogus sites: Does the pharmacy have contact details or is it just a website? Take time to find out whether the online pharmacy has any contact details. By contact details, I mean a physical address and a telephone number. Incase it does, then verify by calling up the number and talking to them.
-
Fly by night operators: Some online pharmacies are just run by thugs who want to make quick money and vanish. Look for the verification seal on the website of the pharmacy. Authentic online pharmacies proudly display their verification seals from a registered authority.
The internet has revolutionalized the world no doubt, but it has also increased the chances of frauds. Incase you want to order from an Online Pharmacy, make sure that you don’t fall prey to unscrupulous individuals. Like they say look before you leap!
