It's that time of year again, where we sit ourselves down and resolve to make our lives better. Like most Americans, your #1 New Year's resolution is probably weight loss. But you've tried all the diets, watched all the Fat Camp reality shows, and you still haven't hit on the key to permanent weight loss.

But what if all the ‘experts’ had it wrong? What if calories and exercise and starving yourself weren’t the solution to being thin? And who would want that life anyway?

Thankfully, the newest research is showing there is a better way.

Forget about dieting. Forget about exercise. Cutting-edge research has discovered that hormones are the key.

You thought fat was caused by calories, right?

Ask yourself this, are you eating more now than you did when you were young and skinny? Probably not. In fact, you probably eat less, drink zero-calorie soda and buy all the fat-free snacks you can find.

Are you ready to change your life?

In the past I've discussed how the body can either be in 'healing' mode or 'adrenaline' mode. Thus, if a person is always stressed out, the body will never have a chance to heal.

Weight is the same way. The body can either be in 'fat storage' mode or 'fat burning' mode. But not both. Hormones are responsible to deciding which mode the body is in.

Once the right hormones are triggered, the body does the rest. No low-calorie diets, no hard-core exercise.

Key #1: eat more raw veggies and apples (read Dr. Berg’s book for why). Nutrients, found in live vegetables and some fruits turn on the 'fat-burning' hormone.

Key #2: eat less refined foods! Insulin is the king of fat-storing hormones. It is released when the body consumes sugar, bread, white flour, and milk.

For in-depth analysis of hormonal weight loss, read Dr. Eric Berg’s book, The Seven Principles of Fat Burning. And for nutrient-dense supplements, start using Alka Green and Alka Slim - http://mortersupplements.com.

Just like it's hard to start a car without the right keys, it's near impossible to lose weight without the right hormones.

High-nutrient veggies and minimal refined foods are the keys to being a fat-burning machine.
