Why aren’t I making money? I just joined this opportunity and my sponsor is making $5,000.00 per month. He sent me to his website and then he sent me the DVD along with some sample products and color brochures. I was sold right away, I was impressed.

I have sending out the postcards for 4 months now and no one has signed up I attend all the conference calls and I buy my monthly products, in fact the products are starting to fill my closet in the spare bedroom now..

What is the problem? Don’t they see the potential here?

If this is you, it is time to take a step back and look at what you are saying…

Take a look at what your sponsor did to recruit you. He sent you to his website and then he sent you the DVD along with some sample products and color brochures.

What are you doing? You are mailing postcards. You are not making any money yet so you cannot afford to get a website, send out DVDs, color brochures, and samples of your products. Apparently your sponsor was able to recruit you because he impressed you with his marketing arsenal.

This is not easy to duplicate for the average person because he or she doesn’t have the resources and the money to do all that promoting in the beginning. That is why you are not able to recruit anyone for your opportunity. A simple postcard is just not enough in this case to get folks to respond. It could be the copy on the postcard, or it could be the mailing list.

But to keep it simple here it is just not the same method that your sponsor is using to make his $5,000.00 per month.

If you want to build a MLM business you must have a system that is easy to duplicate Your system has to be simple to follow and it has to be a proven system. You must have training for your downline. You must offer support. If you can provide this you can succeed and so can your downline.

It has been said that most people drop out after 90 days if they are not making any money. This is the sad fact of MLM. People do drop out almost as fast as you can sign up new folks. You have a constant revolving door.

In order to prevent this you must have a simple to duplicate system for your people to follow. Don’t expect them to do the impossible, instead you should provide them with a system that it easy to follow. You must set a good example and a reasonable one. The system is one that you should be using and having success with.

Even if it means you have two levels of promoting. You must offer one that has a small learning curve, one that is easy to duplicate. It is ok to have a level two system once they are making money that they can re-invest in the system. That system can be more involved and more costly, but at least they can use their profits to take the business to the next level.

This is very simple and very basic. MLM is a great way to earn money and provide financial stability for you and your family. The problem is the industry sometime gets a bad rap because so many people lose money. They lose money because either they really don’t try to make a go of it, or else they are not provided with an easy to duplicate system for success and proper training.

So before you join an MLM home based opportunity ask your sponsor what is the best way to build your business. Ask them for more than one way to build it, ask them what others are doing and ask them what they feel is the best way to build the business Then you can judge for yourself, and see if this is within your budget. Do they offer the training and resources to help you succeed? If not then find a company that will. Don’t forget that the product you are selling or promoting also has to be of value to everyone you want to introduce your MLM Company too. No one wants to buy a $50.00 bottle of shampoo; just so 5 people can make a commission on it. Don’t forget that…
