So you're on the market for some entertainment in the form of satellite television ? Maybe you just bought yourself a new wide-screen television and are in search for something to complement your purchase ? A good choice to go for is Dish Network satellite.
Dish Network is one of two of the satellite television providers in the country. They offer five basic packages; Dish Family, America's Top 100, America's Top 200, America's Top 250, and finally the Everything Pak. The most basic package features some of the best 'family-friendly' channels. You can add local channels such as NBC. FOX, and ABC for a few extra dollars a month.
America is a melting pot of different cultures and nationalities. Dish Network caters to virtually everybody. They have International Programming with channels in more than 10 different languages, including, but not limited to, German, Farsi, Italian, and French. The most common non-English programming is the Spanish language programming. This caters to the millions of spanish speakers in the United States. For the millions of Chinese speakers there is the 'Great Wall Package' which features channels that broadcast 24-hours-a-day, and includes channels such as CCTV and Dragon TV.
Dish Network can have you up-and-running within 24 hours, and offers free professional installation by qualified technicians. You have the choice of getting up to 4 rooms connected at no extra charge. Each room will, of course, get its own DVR (Digital Video Recorder) or 'box' allowing different channels to be viewed at the same time from the same dish.
When you get your dish installed it will be installed facing the south, and it important that there be no trees or branches obstructing the signal. If you are renting an apartment you will need written permission from the owner/landlord before you can get your dish installed. That shouldn't be a problem, unless you have a grumpy old landlord !
