We might have known Kirstie Alley, for some of the wonderful roles she essayed in her movies, but off late the lady with plenty of spunk has made headlines more for her dramatic weight loss regime. In fact this actress who once weighed close to 220 pounds has lost more than 55 pounds soon after she enrolled with Jenny Craig and their weight loss program. As is pretty obvious, the transformation of this lady from someone fat to sporting enviable proportions all over again has come with lots of hard work and dedication to the program she was given.
Overnight Kirstie Alley, has become the embodiment of successful weight loss, for those who believed it wasn’t really possible. With millions of people congratulating and contacting her for her successful make over, Kirstie Alley has become an inspiration of sorts for effective weight loss.
Having been a spokesperson for the Jenny Craig diet system and losing 75 lbs in three years, the actress has not only regained her good looks but also her confidence. Kirstie Alley was all praise for the Jenny Craig diet system, which helped her loose much of the undesired fat through special counseling, eating regimes, and exercise, much of which was dance based.
Speaking from the heart, Kirstie elaborates on her role as someone who has achieved the impossible and won the admiration of not only her admirers, but also her detractors. She says, "Somehow, I've also fallen into the position of "accidental" role model for, apparently, millions of people out there losing weight by whatever means. This was something I did not bargain for, or foresee happening. Nevertheless, it is something I've grown to embrace and something I intend to continue to pursue."
Kirstie Alley dedicated herself to eight months of the Jenny Craig diet, and the results were very obvious. Inspired by the success of her weight loss regime and thanks to her adequate knowledge by now of the right way to loose weight, Kirstie Alley has plans of launching her own weight loss program.
She says that there is regular change in the way people look at things and ideas, and hence weight loss programs need to be based on latest research and focusing on different body types. The actress says that she wants to create something new which will help millions of people loose weight in the fun way without thinking of it as an arduous task.

Ms. Alley is no longer the spokesperson for Jenny Craig weight loss program, but they seemed to have parted in mutually amicable ways.
