Telemarketing Tips about Overcoming Objections

Telemarketing is surely a way to get in touch with lots of potential costumers but at the same time it's very hard and it's normal to get many negative answers. Remember that you have to perform nine calls before to get a successful one, obviously this ratio is not an universal rule as can be improved or can be even worse but gives an idea of the faced difficulty.
You should have fun while telemarketing because if you're bored then who is from the other side will feel it and therefore will answer accordingly: set in your mind a basic goal to achieve as to get successful at least once every nine calls and strive to be nice at the phone ( not only at the phone but in your whole life too ) since it's the first impression that defines if you'll succeed or not.
A thing that you must keep in mind is that people always tend to stop such kind of calls because they fear that someone wants to sell something them, to understand this just think to the last call you've received in which someone was advertising a service or a product and then think to how you felt that time and how you replied. People in such situations are close and tend to be even more close so we have to get over it and questions are indeed a good tool that can make a person getting out of the shell, of course you'll find who'll reply "forgive me, but i didn't say you that I'm not interested ?" then close the conversation and greet politely.
Turn the objection into the beginning of a nice conversation: instead of thanking and hanging up, ask a question based on what you've been answered. If they answer that are not interested then you could ask if they have already that kind of service or product you're offering, following a negative answer you could ask the reason of a such decision while in the other case you could ask about what they have and talk about what you're offering showing the possibility of a free consultation without obligation. Placing questions that leads securely to a positive answer enhances the probability to get a positive result since, who you're talking with, gets in an agreeing state. Don't forget to use always polite forms of asking as "can i ask you..." or "would you mind if i ask you..." as these will soften your interlocutor.
Playing an active role in the conversation is itself a success and will bring you positivity and satisfaction, in other terms you'll have fun: you don't have just to show interest to what people say to phone but you have to be REALLY interested to what they say, this will be felt by the other side and you'll feel good too. Getting successful in overcoming objections will build new circuits in your brain that will solve similar situations while giving up simply will lead to discouragement, unsuccessful calling and will put in you an unconscious awareness to be a loser.
