Losing weight will boost your self esteem and make you feel

good. I know I feel better when I have lost weight.

Imagine walking on the beach in those skimpy bathing suits!

It'll feel a lot better if you were skinny and you'd turn

heads! (wink!) I'm sure you hate it if you turned heads

just because you were fat in a bathing suit! Ugh!

Your self esteem is important. You wouldn't be depressed

and humiliated all the time. Exercise releases endorphins

which makes you feel good.

  1. Cardiac health.

Your heart will love you if you take care of it by losing

weight! The more weight you carry is more work for your

heart. So, the less you weigh, the less your heart has to

work! Also, when you're exercising, your heart gets its

exercise. Your heart probably benefits the most when you

lose weight.

  1. Prevent Diabetes.

Recent studies have proven that obese people tend to develop

diabetes more than thinner ones. Diabetes causes a lot of

health problems in the long term. So it's better to avoid

diabetes by maintaining your weight.

  1. Long life.

It's also a fact that skinny people live longer than obese

people. All that excess weight they carry is not good for

the heart.

  1. To be able to travel by airplane.

You know those skinny seats are NOT made for obese people!

You'd probably end up buying TWO seats. It pays to be thin

and be able to travel by airplane.

  1. To be able to wear anything you like.

I'm sure you're tired of wearing those tents! It doesn't

matter if you're a woman wearing a tent dress or a guy

wearing a tent shirt! I'm sure you'd be happier if you

could be fashionable and to buy what's "in" style.

  1. To be able to do anything you want.

When you're thin, you can do whatever you want. If you're

overweight, you tend to be out of breath and will quit

earlier than if you were in shape. Imagine going to the

mall... if you were overweight, you'd probably take many

breaks and find a bench to catch your breath. You may also

take more breaks at the food court which will exacerbate the

problem in the first place!
