A critical factor in your success is having a proven, duplicatable MLM business plan. The vast majority of every kind of business fails. Same for MLM distributors. The barriers to entry are low, so virtually anyone can start their own business.

To achieve your goals, you need to either start with a big network of people who like you and trust you, or you must build that network. It's important to pick a plan that pays well for real production. And you need to have a knack for marketing, because you will need to continually build your network. And if you are like most people who don't start with that strong network in place, you must build it from the get-go.

You need a good plan for network marketing success, just like in any other business. And yet, so many people these days are spouting the "multiple streams of income" hooey in MLM.

You can look long and hard and still never find anyone who is successful in 2 network marketing businesses at the same time. It may take you a while to find someone who has actually built full-time income in ONE business. So what would make people think they could build FIVE business at a time, as some of them claim? It's probably pretty simple: they're full of it. They're hoping that if they promote 5 businesses to you, maybe you'll see one you like and join.

In my experience, people who do this just disappear quickly. You must choose the best opportunity you can find and build that business. Multiple streams of network marketing income is an idea whose time will never come.

The people who will build your business and network marketing income are the people with big dreams. If you can show them a step-by-step plan to achieve what they want in life, and if they believe that it's something they can do and that you can help them, you will get a steady stream of people in your business.

At this point, the only problem that can destroy your business is ... greed and ego. It's crucial long-term that you build a good relationship with your people, and vice versa. You can ruin that relationship by greed or ego or both.

The income is certainly important to everybody. You can create terrific income in MLM when you get a lot of people each do a little bit. Everybody in this business wants to increase their income, and they want recognition.

You will be much closer to reaching your own income goals and income stability by focusing on helping the others in your group achieve their own dreams. Be on the lookout for greed and ego so you can stop them before they ever start to develop.

When you google "MLM", you'll quickly realize how many websites and web businesses focus on selling leads to MLMers. Huge business.

Unfortunately, you can never really know for sure what you're getting when you buy leads from someone else. If the vendor isn't someone you know well, you have a good chance of getting worthless leads. That's why it makes so much sense to develop your own targeted MLM leads if you possibly can.
