Network Marketing Contracts

When you start in network marketing, you have chosen to agree to a company's contract. Some people don't realize that, but it is true 100% of the time. You may not have signed on the dotted line, but you checked a box saying you read and agree to the Policies & Procedures.

That step must be done in order to begin marketing any network marketing product. So the question is ... did you actually read the Policies and Procedures? (Most people don't.)

The P&P is the legal contract between you and the network marketing company. Do you have any real idea what you have agreed to? You might be surprised. Heck, you might be absolutely shocked. It's fairly standard for a company to insert one or more clauses making it clear that you - the rep - may be terminated at any time for any reason with 30 days' notice. Companies terminate on a regular basis without just cause.

They let it pass until you have good money coming in, and then they terminate you. Guess where the income you built then goes? Keep in mind, this contract was written by company lawyers. Chances are the company won't terminate you to steal your check unless they get themselves in financial trouble. But it happens. If you want a solid foundation for yourself and your family and your team, then you definitely want a contract that doesn’t state they may terminate without just cause.

Network Marketing Training

When you talk to anyone about joining your home- based business, one of the most important factors in their mind is the network marketing training. A prospect wants to be certain that they'll get effective training, and that it's easily accessible for them, and that it's not an overwhelming course. Plus, they want to make money as quickly as possible. If your training takes too long, you will lose them. So they need to see that it's quick and easy.

Part of the thinking here is that they quickly realize that they will need help training the recruits they bring into the business. The more time they have to spend training, the less time they will have to actually bring in new people. What works best is to have a team that trains all the team members and the new associates they bring in. Tell them about your team training conference calls and all the help they'll get. Make sure they have your email & phone number, plus your sponsor's, so they can get in touch with you whenever they need to. Your recruits want assurance that you will be there for them.

These ideas, and a lot more are explored in the Free ebook "Success In 10 Steps." I received a compiled a list of network marketing keywords recently and discovered something interesting. Reading the search results, 75% (!) of the top 20 network marketing related search terms had to do with "leads!" That's a pretty good clue about the #1 focus of network marketers. Obviously it makes sense. You can't be successful in network marketing without a steady stream of targeted, interested people to talk to.
