People are looking with suspicions to announcements that water can help them lose weight and how big role it actually has in humans lives. Many forget that our bodies consist mainly from water. Water is the most important substance for almost any living organism. Just a few facts:

Water plays the main role in the function of our bodies. Title says "lose weight with water" but, of course, just a plain drinking of water won't help you to lose weight. There are 2 basic components of the natural weight loss method - eating right and drinking right. It's a sure way to lose weight.
As you probably know, "bad" fats are the main culprits causing excess weight; eat "good fats" that provide essential fatty acids. Great sources of the fats you need and are good for you are sardines, salmon, herrings and mackerel. These prevent blood clotting and lower risk of heart failure, help regulate blood pressure.
Eat fibre rich products. Foods rich in fibre make you feel full fast and don't have many calories. One more positive thing is that fibre doesn't get digested by the body. While fibre is passing through the body, it "collects" some fats and proteins which are taken out of the body without being digested. Good sources of fibre are: figs, brown rice, nuts, bran, beans, strawberries, broccoli and apples.
There are two major ways water takes part in weight loss:
- water is acting as an appetite suppressant.
When the body is dehydrated it craves for food. Drinking water in high volumes can keep you away from dehydration and will naturally suppress you appetite.
- drinking cold water can help you to burn more fat.
It sounds unbelievable but it's true - cold water helps in burning fat. When you drink ice cold water, body uses the energy to raise your body temperature what can help you to burn an extra 420 calories a week. Amazing isn't it?
Now you can see that water can help you to lose weight naturally. It is widely used in dieting and is a component of natural weight loss. Also, water is a good natural appetite suppressant.
