Your Sponsor Wants You To Fail

Have you ever felt like your sponsor was giving you little or no support? There are times in your network marketing business when you may ask yourself why am I wasting my time doing this when I know that it is not going to work. You are all excited about the new business that you have started. You were told by your sponsor that you could earn thousands of dollars every month and how easy it is to do and now you can not even go to sleep at night. Your every waking minute you are thinking about how to make your business grow to the level that your sponsor has reached. In your mind you know and believe that you have what it takes to become successful in this because if Joe Blow can become successful and make tons of money from this, then surely you can do the same thing. All you have to do is listen to the guru, I mean the expert up-line support that sponsored you in the first place.

You are ready to jump in and get the ball rolling, but you do not know what to do. You call your sponsor and ask them to give you instructions on what to do and the first thing they tell you to do is make a list of names using the people that you are in contact with. So you being ready to make all this new found money write down every name you can think of, from kindergarten to your present co-workers. Uncle Jethro, cousin Sally and even your dreaded in-laws are all on your list. You have exhausted the phonebook, the little black book and your old high school yearbooks. You have spent days and nights scouring through them all and now you are ready to get to work. After all, nothing happens until you and your sponsor get on the phone and go through the script. You are so ready that you can taste it. Your heart rate increases and your palms are sweaty because you just know that these people that you are about to call will be excited and ready to join your business. After all you were the good child and everybody liked you, so why wouldn't they join you and make millions together?

Now the big day has come and you and your sponsor are ready to dial them up and make this thing happen. To your surprise you have been able to come up with 212 names in 3 days and you know that these people are ripe for the taking. They are ripe because many of them have jobs that have laid them off, are threatening to lay them off or their hours are being cut. The economy is telling you that these people need to do something and do something fast. This is the perfect timing for you to show them how to make money from home with their very own business. After all if anybody should want to be in business for themselves it should be somebody that is in their position. In theory this is a good idea, but the problem is we do not live in a theoretical world. You dial the first number and the line is busy. You dial the next number and the line is disconnected. You dial the next number and they tell you to call them back in an hour. You dial the next number and they are deceased. You dial the next number and number is changed to an unpublished number. Now you are getting frustrated because you have been through all this hard work and nothing to show for it. Your sponsor tells you not to worry because they have been through the same thing and knows how you feel.

A few days go by and you have not spoken to anyone else about your path to riches because you now feel that nobody wants to join or even hear about what you have to offer. Thanks to your sponsor you are now feeling deflated and rejected. This leads you back to them because they have made it and really want to show you how to do it. But have you ever thought about why their family and friends are not in business with them, yet they are telling you to gather all your warm market people? The truth to the matter is they really want string you along as long as they can because this gives them a sense of being needed. As long as they can keep you at a level of depending on them to show you the ropes, they can string you along like a toy poodle along for the ride. You can obtain some success, but not too much that you will not need them anymore.

Why does my sponsor want me to fail you may ask? Simply put your sponsor wants you to fail because he or she understands that once you gain success in this field, your dependence upon them becomes null and void. Once you gain this valuable knowledge you can possibly become competition. If your sponsor will not take the time to give you the recipe, guide, and support to make you a success then you can see that they want you to fail. Take the time to find a good sponsor or mentor in your chosen business opportunity and you will be greatly rewarded. None of us started with a huge following, but through trials and falling forward we have obtained a great reward in our chosen fields.
